When a glass is lifted from tray, there challenge for the waiter. He must quickly compensate reduction in weight of tray to keep it balanced. This compensation easily achieved if waiter lifts himself. Because he has, himself, initiated action, can predict timing and magnitude perturbation respond (via holding hand) accordingly. In this study, we examined coordination when either one or two people hold while them third person removes glass. Our results show that exquisite between tray.
